Cement production creates an environment with high concentrations of abrasive clinker and limestone dust. GREATORK's IP68 double-sealing design is critical here, preventing internal electronic failures by ensuring zero ingress of fine particulates into the gear and control chambers.
Long Son Cement operates on a 24/7 basis. Our actuators are engineered for high-frequency operation and long-term reliability, supporting the automation of air dampers and cooling water lines that are essential for kiln stability.
As part of Long Son's modernization efforts, GREATORK provided smart actuation solutions that integrate directly into the plant's centralized control system, enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Technical Solutions Deployed
All settings, including limits and torque, are adjusted using an external infrared setter. This ensures the actuator housing remains hermetically sealed, protecting internal components from the abrasive cement environment.
With 0.5% measurement accuracy, the actuators provide pinpoint control of valve positions. The battery-free design ensures that even during frequent power flickers in heavy industrial zones, position data is never lost.
The clear OLED interface allows site engineers to monitor torque values and operating status in real-time, even in low-visibility or nighttime conditions, facilitating rapid on-site diagnostics。
